The Florida Cicerones serve as the official student ambassadors to the University of Florida by giving campus tours to past, present, and prospective students, family members, and VIP guests.

Since taking over @flcicerone's Instagram, major changes have been implemented to improve engagement with our members, alumni, and prospective members. Here's the strategies we implemented:​

  • Interactive story series

  • Live stories at events

  • Member spotlights

  • Twitter polls

  • Calls to actions within posts

  • Updating stories daily to continue engagement

As the Social Media Chair, I...

  • ​Photographed, captioned and scheduled social posts, to market @flcicerones and promote an average of 10 postings per week on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook

  • Incorporated calls to actions in captions to increase follower engagement

  • Utilized Instagram stories to showcase live membership events such as tours, general body meetings, socials and tabling

  • Streamline visual content to discard “breaks from feed”, utilizing separate applications to organize and plan

  • Personalized media to the organization by utilizing hashtags such as: #NewMemberMonday, #TourGuideTuesday, #CluvSunday

Streamlined content and rebranded Instagram feed to showcase high quality content and reflect the bright and saturated, University of Florida brand.
